Creativity and Well Being in Devon

A new Harmony Retreats offering

5 early summer days, and 4 nights at the Bala Brook Retreat Centre being inspired by Dartmoor's natural splendour to revive, reimagine, rekindle, or reinvent your creative self. We will walk on Dartmoor, guided by the wonderful Emma Cunis of Dartmoor's Daughter, then spend 2 days in the arts studio, yoga studio  and/or gardens of the idyllic Bala Brook, with its gateway directly onto the moor, creating new stories, poetry, paintings, photography, sculpture, drawing, journalling, or whatever it is that takes your creative fancy, Two local artists will be on hand each morning for inspiration and guidance, if needed, and on the final day we will exhibit and film our work, finishing with a sharing circle around a fire by the river. Early morning wake-up yoga or guided meditative walk and evening sleep-well meditation frame each day, which will be nourished by freshly prepared local and organic vegetarian food and treats.

Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike. Opportunity to book the retreat without following the programme activities for those who wish to spend the time working independently  on their own project.
